FGS worked in conjunction with a leading New Zealand construction company in the $7.5 million development of the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Kotuku School Project.
The school opened in March 2010. This was a greenfields design and build ESD project with a high level of collaboration with local Iwi and Whanau. This is one of several school projects that FGS has been involved in.




Our Role in this School Project
- Installers drawings completed by FGS Fabrication & Workshop
- Steel rigging organized by FGS
- FGS provided all the structural steel and steel foundation work
- FGS provided completed the on site welding
- FGS provided aesthetic structural pile supports
- FGS provided canopies for walkways, glass balustrades, metal balustrade and handrails
- FGS provided the connecting walkway bridge, sports court fencing
- FGS provided the air conditioning enclosures and aluminium feature panels
- FGS provided the disabled access walkway floor grating
