The event was put together in 3 weeks with the help of Auckland City Council, Local Churches and the community.

The Fence & Gate Shop, a division of FGS Group Ltd organised one of the auction items for the day, a $9000 gate and automation package with the help from some local companies like powder coaters, hire companies & electrical suppliers and a large team of FGS Group Ltd staff that have donated their time to help fabricate and install the gate  for the winning bidder.
